What we collect when you contact us, why we hold it, and how to have it removed.
This is a starting draft, not legal advice. Have it reviewed against the data-protection law that applies to you and your buyers before you rely on it. Mark it reviewed in Admin → Content → Legal to remove this notice.
When you send an enquiry we collect your name, company, business email, phone number if you give it, the country and port you are shipping to, and the details of your requirement. If you use the assistant on this site we record the questions asked so we can improve the answers.
We record a one-way hash of your IP address for rate limiting. We do not store the address itself and it cannot be recovered from the hash.
To answer your enquiry, to quote, and to carry out an order if one follows. That is the entire purpose. We do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone outside the parties needed to move your cargo — typically a freight forwarder, a customs agent and a bank.
Enquiries that do not lead to business are deleted after two years. Records connected to a shipment are kept as long as export and tax law requires, then deleted.
This site sets a cookie only when you sign in to the client portal or the admin, and it exists solely to keep you signed in. There is no advertising or cross-site tracking of any kind.
You may ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to us and we will act within thirty days.
Questions about your data, or a request to see or delete it, go to sales@santiq.com.
